This site provides information about selling residential property to Laurel Home Buyers, a private buyer in the Portland, Oregon metro area and southwest Washington.
What this site is not
Nothing on this site is legal, tax, financial, or real estate advice. We are not licensed real estate brokers and we do not represent you in any transaction. We are a buyer. Our interests and yours are not the same, and you should get your own professional advice before making decisions about your property.
Information about Oregon law, timelines, costs, and processes is general and may be out of date. Laws change. Always confirm with a qualified professional before acting.
Submitting your information is not an offer or a contract
Requesting an offer does not obligate you to sell and does not obligate us to buy. No agreement exists until both parties sign a written purchase agreement. Any number we give you before that point is an estimate based on the information available.
Accuracy of what you tell us
You agree that the information you give us is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that you have the authority to discuss and to sell the property. If you are not the sole owner, if the property is in an estate, or if a court has any say over it, tell us.
We may assign a purchase contract
Where we enter a purchase agreement with you, we may assign that contract to another buyer. Where we intend to do so, we will tell you in writing before you sign. The price and terms you agreed to do not change.
Text messaging terms
By providing your phone number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Laurel Home Buyers at that number. Messages may be sent using automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of any sale.
Program description. We send messages about your property inquiry, your offer, and the status of any transaction. If you have opted in to marketing messages, we also send occasional promotional messages about our services.
Message frequency. Varies based on your interaction with us.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for messages; your carrier may.
