I’m Kelly Raulerson. I’ve been buying and fixing up houses in Portland for years, mostly in Southeast and out toward Gresham. I got into this because a family member needed to sell a house fast after a death in the family, and every option on the table felt either predatory or slow. I figured there was room to do this better, so I started doing it myself.
I know these neighborhoods because I’ve worked in them, not because a map told me where to go. Lents, Rockwood, St. Johns, Milwaukie. If your house is in one of them, there’s a decent chance I’ve already been on the block.
What we actually do
We buy houses in the Portland metro directly from owners, in whatever condition they happen to be in, and we pay cash. We are not listing your house. We are the buyer.
Sometimes we keep a house and renovate it. Sometimes we assign the contract to another buyer in our network who is a better fit for that property. We tell you which one before you sign, in writing, and the price you agreed to does not change either way.
Why spell that out? Because a lot of companies in this business will not, and because you should know who is actually going to own your house.
What we are not
We are not real estate agents. We do not represent you. We are not paid a commission. We do not owe you the duties a licensed broker owes a client.
Which is exactly why we can say out loud that our offer is below retail, and why we tell people to list when listing is better. Want someone representing your interests? Hire an agent. Good idea. We will still be here afterward if the numbers do not work out.

How we operate
- We never ask you for money. Not a fee, not a deposit, not an application charge. Ever.
- We do not sell your information to other investors or lead companies.
- We give you one number and explain it. We do not open low expecting to negotiate.
- We do not retrade. If something significant was hidden at the walkthrough, we show you what we found and you can walk.
- Closing runs through a local title company. The money never passes through us.
- If you tell us no, that is the end of it.
